Everything you need to know about FIB Benicassim 2026, from line-up news to ticket updates and beyond.
FIB Benicassim has unveiled the three headline acts anchoring its 2026 edition. The Prodigy close the festival on Saturday 18 July, topping a closing night bill that also features Biffy Clyro and returning favourites Jet. Franz Ferdinand open proceedings on Thursday 16 July alongside Spanish acts Lori Meyers and Ultraligera, while The Kooks and Pendulum Live share the Friday headline slot with Kaiser Chiefs.
Organisers say the 2026 line-up reflects a deliberate mix of established British guitar acts, electronic heavyweights and beloved Spanish artists, continuing FIB's tradition of celebrating the best of both worlds.
Ticket sales for FIB Benicassim 2026 have broken records, with three-day general admission passes reaching 93% sold capacity ahead of the July festival. VIP and Golden VIP options are at 95% capacity.
Single day tickets remain available, with Thursday priced from €44.99 and Saturday from €47.50. Festival organisers have urged those still planning to attend to buy immediately, as 2026 is on course to be a sell-out. Tickets are available exclusively through the official fiberfib.com website.
After years as a four-day festival, FIB Benicassim has been running as a three-day event since 2022. The 2026 edition (16–18 July) continues this format, with Thursday through Saturday evenings of music rather than the traditional Thursday-to-Sunday format.
The condensed format has been broadly welcomed, with organisers concentrating the best acts into three powerful nights rather than spreading a larger lineup more thinly. The site still opens for camping from Wednesday, giving attendees the option of an extra night before music begins on Thursday evening.
With a headline billing that covers everything from post-punk new wave (Franz Ferdinand) to indie rock (The Kooks, Biffy Clyro) and the raw electronic fury of The Prodigy, FIB 2026 has assembled one of its most cohesive and exciting line-ups in recent memory.
Add in strong supporting acts including Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Kaiser Chiefs, Pendulum Live, Editors, Placebo and Nothing But Thieves – alongside a strong Spanish contingent – and this edition looks like a genuine return to the festival's golden years. If you are on the fence, now is the time to commit.
The 2023 edition delivered everything FIB regulars expect: scorching heat, incredible music and an atmosphere that simply cannot be replicated at a British festival. The cashless payment system, now fully embedded, made spending on site considerably smoother.
After two years away due to the pandemic, Benicassim returned in July 2022 with a new three-day format and one of the most emotionally charged atmospheres the festival has ever produced. Wolf Alice, The Libertines and Two Door Cinema Club headlined a triumphant comeback edition.
Three of rock's most enduring acts on the same bill in the Spanish July heat. The Cure played a set of extraordinary length and depth. Iggy Pop was shirtless and ferocious at 72. Pixies were precise and devastating. One of the strongest editions in recent memory.
The 2016 edition is still talked about as one of FIB's finest. Major Lazer, Muse, The Chemical Brothers, Biffy Clyro and Massive Attack delivered spectacular performances across four unforgettable nights.
Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon had buried the hatchet, the band had a new album and FIB had the privilege of hosting one of the most anticipated British reunion shows in years. Alt-J and The Prodigy completed a headline bill that justified every ticket sold.
The 2013 edition assembled one of the most remarkable headline billings in FIB history. Arctic Monkeys, Queens of the Stone Age and The Killers headlined three consecutive nights, with La Roux and dozens more filling out a bill that felt genuinely unmissable.
Ask any FIB veteran to name their favourite edition and a significant number will say 2011. The Strokes headlined, Pulp played their long-awaited reunion shows, and the combination of lineup, weather and atmosphere produced something that is still talked about today.
FIB Benicassim was voted Best Overseas Festival at the UK Festival Awards 2012, recognising the festival's unique combination of world-class artists, its beautiful location and the atmosphere that keeps so many British festival-goers returning year after year.
