London Heathrow is one of the best departure points for Benicassim, as it is one of the few UK airports with direct low-cost routes to Valencia - the closest major airport to the festival at just 75 km away. Iberia, British Airways and sometimes budget carriers operate this route.

A direct flight from Heathrow to Valencia takes around 2 hours 15 minutes. Combined with the festival bus transfer from Valencia Airport (approximately 70 minutes, €20 one-way), you can be at the campsite in under four hours from landing.

Alicante is also an option from Heathrow if Valencia fares are high, though the transfer to the festival site is considerably longer at around 2.5 hours.

Getting the Best Deal from London Heathrow

Book Early

Mid-July is peak summer travel season. Book flights as soon as you have tickets to the festival. Prices rise sharply as July approaches.

Compare Both Destinations

Always check Valencia and the alternative airport side by side. A cheaper flight to Alicante may still work out better value even with a longer bus transfer.

Travel Light

Budget airline hold luggage fees add up quickly. Pack as light as possible and buy toiletries in Spain. If you must check a bag, book it with your flight rather than adding it later.
