Hotels & Camping

From beachside camping to comfortable hotels, here is our guide to where to stay for FIB Benicassim 2026.

Festival camping at Benicassim

Camping is Part of the FIB Experience

The camping at FIB Benicassim is as much a part of the experience as the music itself. Your weekend ticket includes access to the festival campsite, which sits right next to the sea. Waking up to the sound of waves and Mediterranean sunshine is something that no hotel can replicate.

That said, the heat at a Spanish summer festival is no joke. Temperatures regularly exceed 35°C during the day, so a good-quality tent with proper ventilation is essential. Many experienced FIB veterans actually prefer hotels or glamping for the benefit of air conditioning and a proper bed.

  • Campsite access is included with all weekend tickets
  • The campsite is right on the beach
  • Separate camping areas for different ticket types
  • Showers, toilets and lockers available on site
  • 24-hour security on the campsite

Ways to Stay

Festival Camping

The most popular option. Pitching your tent at FIB puts you right in the heart of the action, a short walk from the stages. The campsite has its own bars, food stalls and entertainment throughout the day.

Tip: Get a good lightweight tent, a solar phone charger and a sleeping mat. Nights are warm but a sleeping bag liner is useful. Arrive early on day one to get a good pitch near friends.

Glamping

Pre-erected bell tents and more luxurious shelters are available to book through the official FIB website. Glamping gives you the campsite atmosphere without having to lug a tent through the airport. Packages vary but typically include bedding and basic furnishings.

Availability is very limited – book as early as possible if this is your preferred option.

Camping Essentials for FIB

The heat at a Spanish summer festival is very different from a British one. Here is what experienced FIB campers always bring.

01

A Good Tent

Choose a lightweight tent with good ventilation. A dark-coloured tent will be an oven in the July heat. Silver or light-coloured tents with mesh inner sections are far more comfortable. Do not bring a tent you cannot bear to leave behind – many festival veterans buy a cheap tent and leave it.

02

Sunscreen & Shade

Factor 50 sunscreen is not optional at FIB – it is essential. The midday sun in July is fierce. A small pop-up gazebo or a sun shade for your camping area makes a huge difference during the afternoon. A wide-brimmed hat is essential.

03

Water Bottle

There are free drinking water points around the festival site. Bring a large refillable water bottle and use them. Staying hydrated in the heat is crucial, especially if you are also drinking alcohol. A two-litre bottle minimum is recommended.

04

Phone Charger

A solar charger or a large power bank is invaluable at FIB. There are charging points on site, but they are always busy. A good solar charger left on your tent during the day will keep your phone going through the night without any queuing.

05

Cash Alternatives

FIB is cashless, so your spending is all done through the wristband. However, it is worth having a small amount of euros in cash for taxis, shops in town or anything outside the festival perimeter.

06

Earplugs

The festival runs into the early hours and the campsite is lively long after the main stages close. Whether you want to sleep early or just protect your hearing, a good pair of earplugs is one of the most valuable items you can pack.
