I have been conned out of £315.00 by what i believed to be the official T in The Park site. Apparantely a company called Good Time Entertainment….sounds like the same site as benicassim2010.com. i also have the telephone number 02082945742 that no longer exists!! Does someone have a number that works that I could try please. I have also went to teh police!! I really don’t see how the hell they can get away with making out they are someone they are not just by a few characters being different between official sites and dodgy ones!!!
Kelly says
It all sounds promising, thanks guys 😀
sophstar says
Hi
I was worried but I got my money back. It was a bit later than they said but I got the lot so don’t worry!!
marsha says
guys don’t fret – you should get the money back. I paid by debit card for 3 tickets and received an email last week saying they couldn’t supply tickets. i phoned my bank and explained the situation and they put me through to the correct department who sent me through a declaration to complete, basically stating that you have not received goods that you paid for. it also helps if you have any confirmation emails etc to send through with the declaration. After 2 days the money was back in my bank but just make sure you are persistent with the bank and check with them that they have recieved all your paperwork.
Kelly says
If you do have a number for them (that isn’t 02082945742) would be great. I tried this number and it just gives out a dead line tone 🙁
Will says
ring good time entertainments, they gave me a mobile number to ring ages ago when i got busted by this site, but the guys there refunded me within a few days, they aren’t thieves, just crafty. If i can find the number i will post it
admin says
Hi Heleena, any tickets that have ordered through this site (www.benicassim.org.uk) are from genuine official partners. We don’t resell any tickets. The partner we recommend is Seetickets who are a very reputable ticket site – see http://www.benicassim.org.uk/tickets for more info
Kelly says
Yes good news that no-one else can get stumped by buying tickets from their site, but not so good for those of us who have already bought tickets from them and now can’t get in touch with them, as it seems only emails were ansered!! 🙁
I’m going to try the numbers throughout the thread and hope for the best, following that credit card company, although I am pretty sure they can’t help; I remember reading a thread that stated their CC couldn’t help as they technically weren’t fraudulant!!! Nightmare!!
Zoe says
Seems some good is happening – the website has been taken down now, so that’s at least something positive, right?
D Toner says
Hi all, i’ve also paid in full for my ticket and recieved nothing.. Who should i email about getting my refund?? I must have deleted the email from my inbox…
tabanobu says
f**k you good times entertainment you f**king wankers.
Ben A. says
Me and my friends just went through exactly the same situation as described many times on this page. Can someone who had been through the same situation please PLEASE give the rest of us a number or something to contact these people by? Ben from May 21, 2010 at 3:40 pm, please respond to this, you know how f*cked up this situation is for us victims!
Thank you very much!
Zoe says
I’ve reported benicassim2010.com to crime stoppers. 0300 123 2040 – if you’ve been a victim of it, I’d recommend you report it. They’re really helpful!
rachel says
me and my friend were supposed to be going together but my friend is having money trouble and may not be able to afford to go. I have flights and everything booked so I’m still going (more than likely on my own at this rate), if my friend can’t go I’ll have a spare ticket that I’d be selling. I got them from lastminute.com and they’re waiting to be printed off in my inbox so they are legit.
Sian says
I bought my ticket from benicassim2010.com over two months ago.
Sian says
The same thing has happened to me. What’s worse is that i’ve booked flights and accommodation too and lost the amount for 2 tickets on that site. You have to contact your bank’s card services department telling them exactly whats happened asap! There are many people in the same boat so I have faith these bastards are going to get prossecuted. Let me know how you get on.
Zoe says
Mags – go on the offical website, they recconmend the legit ones, such as HMV, seetickets and lastminutes.com
Zoe says
Help! I did not know to be wary of this website [benicassim2010.com] until I got an email from them cancelling my booking, and them telling me that my bank is responsible for retrieving my refund, not them, and their supplier has failed to provide them with the tickets.
WHAT DO I DO?
People who have managed to get a refund from them, how did you do it? All I can do is email them, but I need phone numbers. I didn’t use a credit card because I didn’t have one at the time, I vow never to get one, but I got one for the trip in case of emergency, and now I’ve had to use money I don’t have to buy another ticket whilst awaiting trying to get a refund. Anyone available to help???
Please email me your help at [email protected] – am really panicking here, and after some research today, I only just found out this website.
cla says
How can I contact the good time entertainment??The site doesn’t exist, I don’t know which email or number I have to use!
Mags says
The company sent on emails yesterday, saying that they wont be issuing tickets, and cant give a refund, send this on too your credit card company, and hoprfully you will get a refund, might take 30 days though!!!!
Were will I get a ticket now !!!
Dave says
Just had an email saying they cant supply tickets and cant issue refunds, so the company has obviously gone under…doesnt even appear on google now. B*****ds.
jo says
I got tickets from benicassim2010.com and I dont beleive the tickets are real and wont turn up. How do I get a refund? as the website says no refunds? please help someone?!? I really want to go but I need the refund before I can get a new ticket!!! 🙁
Mel says
I have been trying to contact the company about the tickets i bought but there is no answer via phoen or email. Does anyone have another number except this one (07757 398 920) for Good time entertainment? Help please!
Mel says
I purchased tickets in Jan from the benicassim.com website. I recieved a confirmation email but now i am really worried that the tickets are not legit. I tried phoning the Good time Entertainment number 02082945742 but no answer. What did you do to get a refund? help please!
Lorna says
Hi, I’ve emailed asking for a refund but had no response. I find it hard to believe I’ll get one if it’s not a legit company… Ben what number did you call as there’s not one on the website? How long did it take for everyone’s money to come through?
kareem says
Beni playlist on spotify: http://open.spotify.com/user/kazreem/playlist/5pcVzyF6I0p7CCxWhT0hhL
sophie says
ive had a full refund, money went into my account a little while after they said it would, but i did get it back in full.
Tracey says
Hi All
I also got a refund from the benicassim2010 website as I am travelling from another country to Spain and needed the tickets to arrive a week before the concert (which benicassim2010 could not guarantee). I have now bought benicassim tickets from ticketmaster and can print them when I want 😉
Happy Days – lets hope there’s no storm like last year!
Kelly says
It’s encouraging to know that someone has had their refund. I’ve decided to go that route too and bough tickets from seetickets over the weekend, hopefully my refund will come through otherwise these will be expensive tickets!
kareem says
oops wrong thread lol
kareem says
I’ve come to a conclusion that faithless might Headline on the friday…maybe?
Ben says
After weeks of hassle and unanswered calls and emails, I finally received my refund! I do think that they are genuine, they’re just a shocking website to deal with! I got a full refund plus the postage which was a fiver I think. It took longer than they said because they can only refund a certain amount a day appartently. I think that was a bit of a lie. I’ve now bought my tickets. Happy days.
Dan Moriarty says
Just spoke with my credit card crowd and they said my money has gone through to them, im a biy confused by all the talk with regards to the chances of my tickets arriving so i just emailed asking for a refund, hope it works out!!
Kelly says
Arrgh! This is awful to be reading now when I ‘bought’ tickets from these guys in February!! I emailed them yesterday and they assured that tickets will be sent out at the end of June, or if still have concerns would supply a refund. Has anyone had tickets or refund yet?
tabanobu says
has anybody physically had a refund as of yet?
Julie says
Just wondering if anyone has received their refund yet?
ste says
******g horrible ripping scruffy theiving bastards, I bought two tickets off them last october, they took the money , but have not wiped my account……….yet……….
sophstar says
I bought tickets from this site and when I read all this stuff I emailed them my concerns, they called me and told me they would send me a refund within 7 days but have had nothing (unsuprisingly)!
I contacted trading standards before I asked for the refund but they said because they havn’t not sent me tickets they havn’t done anything wrong yet. I think not giving me a refund is wrong so I will be contacting trading standards again to inform them.
undisclosed says
They promised us a refund and that it would clear in 7 days, no surprise we didnt get anything. spoke to them again, said it would be done by the weekend, no surprise didnt get anything!!!
they’ve garanteed us a refund AGAIN and sent us some kind of till reciept, so hopefully it will be done in the next couple of days, but i highly doubt it!!!
everyone who has bought tickets off this site needs to contact the police so that watchdogs are made aware and can track down the bastards!!!!!
Rebecca says
Just wondering if anyone that was told they would recieve a refund from Benicassim2010 .com has actually reieved the money back in your account? And could someone please post if they do
bianca says
they told me it would take up to 7 seven days…and 7 days later…no surprise the money is not back
Ben says
I called good time entertainment on: 0208 294 5742. They then spoke to the website and within 10 minutes someone from the website called me and I got my refund. I haven’t received the money back yet as they said it would take about 10 days. Fingers crossed. Good luck.
Niamh says
what number did you use to get in contact with them..
Ben says
The site are offering full refunds, I managed to get through to them today and expressed my concerns (pretty much all the bad stuff I’ve read on here). The guy I spoke to said he was aware of these forums and what had been said about their site. Although he did sound genuine, I took the option of the refund and when/if the money goes back into my account, I think I’ll get my tickets from an official seller. I hope everyone else gets their tickets sorted, roll on the summer….
Luke says
Yep I booked my ticket from that site and they didn’t send me any tickets. They are some company based in Hungary or something. I thought it strange that I didn’t get an email confirmation straight after booking, I didn’t even get a receipt, so I checked on google and yes, they are a dodgy site! I immediately cancelled my credit card, and the booking didn’t go through!
sophie says
i have… they said they have given me a refund and the money should go back into my account within a week. whether or not the money will go back into my account is another story…

…………has anybody managed to contact them and get a refund??
Tracey says
can someone post the link to the websites that list www. benicassim2010.com as a scam site?
thanks
bianca says
…..i didn’t want to believe this, but i’ve looked it up and it has been reported on some sites as scam…and the domain/host is definitely registered in Slovekia. May sound a bit extreme but I have emailed bbc watchdog about them…and if more people do so hopefully they will get the buggars
Tracey says
I’ve bought tickets from this site also, they have taken the money from my credit card
has anyone successfully gotten their money back from them?
Jonny Nytra says
it wasn’t up last year, there were other scam sites tho
Niamh says
Did anyone buy tickets from this website last year.
Andrew says
I was also concerned, I bought 2 tickets from this site. I spoke to someone from consumerdirect.gov.uk who was very helpful. They asked lots of questions about the site, checked it out themselves while i was on the phone and suggested it probably was a scam site. They aIso ran a domain check and confirmed that the site originates from Hungary. I was told the site details were to be passed to the police, and advised me to get anyone else who has used the site to call them – the more people that report the site, the more seriously the police will take any investigation. As for those who haven’t had money taken yet, like myself, cancel your card immediately. Anyone who then tries to take money will be declined.
Cat says
Sophie – it really, really ISN’T a legit site. Being a registered company means sweet FA. Look on the Facebook Beni group (where people have lost money and had their credit card details scammed); look here: http://www.safeconcerts.com/tickets/directory/Benicassim2010-com/ and here: http://www.volkszone.com/VZi/showthread.php?t=617860 – and then PLEASE cancel your credit card and/or write to / phone the dirty site-scamming scum and get your money back. (And then go to an official ticket site and buy tickets. And then enjoy the festival!!) xx
sophie says
it is a real company… its a member of the association of secondary ticket sellers who have to pay 150% refund if they dont provide tickets so its really ok…. they are a registered company etc etc.
david says
what didnt ya just book on see tickets the tickets arent sold out
james aitken says
cancelled the order before the trtansaction had got through but should i still be worried they have my bank details ?
Amie says
after a bit of research, we’ve found that the website actually originates from Slovakia… i’ll go there myself if thats what it takes to get my money back!!
Lucy says
@ Will: is that true!?! their terms & conditions page says they will not refund under ANY condition, unless they fail to send the tickets… plus I’ve just cancelled the card I paid with!! what to do now??
Will says
Ring them up – they are a real company and they were happy to refund me.
The number you need to call is 07757398920
Jonny Nytra says
The things that makes it unlikely that it’s a real touting site is that
1. Much of the information on the site is outdated – Much of the lineup still hasn’t been updated.
2. The site offers no security checks, e.c.t. All legit firms offer these checks in order to prevent themselves being seen fraudulent.
3. It’s not an official partner to the Benicassim festival, which also means they are not given tickets to sell for a profit. This means that if this site WAS real, they would have to be purchasing thousands of tickets off a site like seetickets for example, and then sell them at a more expensive price to enable themselves to earn revenue as well. However, that doesn’t look like it’s the case – which gives reason to believe that it’s fake, because there seems to be no incentive for them.
4. Although the other sites also dispatch tickets just 2 weeks before the event, they also offer the option for the benicassim festival to print the tickets out yourself at home instead of waiting. However for this site, you can’t do that, which further adds to the mystique of the site.
5. The owners have made no attempt to prevent fraudulent accusations.
kezia says
I bought tickets from here and it looks like it isn’t an official partner, and it may not be particularly efficient, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s fraudulent. Obviously I’d be more comfortable with buying from an official partner but there are plenty of sites that do this kind of touting thing.
Has anyone actually managed to get their money back? Cos I’m not planning on buying more tickets if I can’t; under the T&Cs it says they won’t give a refund under any circumstances. Danielle I find your comment quite reassuring; I had a look at Good Time Entertainment online and it looks prettty official, plus everyone’s complaining they don’t get their tickets until 2 weeks before but isn’t that the case with all the ticket providers?!
Sam says
Pretty sure that website is not good; the real website is http://www.fiberfib .com
– line up only includes first additions, with no sign of the new artists
– ‘Map of Benicassim’ is outdated as is from 2007
– Pretty sure the ‘a’ in ‘Benicassim’ on the header near the logo has the accent the wrong way round
– Pages like ‘Travel Info’ and ‘Camping Infor’ look copied from the real website
– Generally unproffesional layout
I’d stay clear, or get your money back fast!
Jessie says
yer seriously whats the go!? Im from Australia and have got 2 tickets from the site, I’ve recieved a confirmation email and everything so does this mean its sweet or not? some people think its all god, and others are devo about it.. is there any official benicassim person who can confirm whether any of us are going to get legitmate benicassim tickets or what!?
stephen says
is this actually true that benicassim2010 is a fake site
i need to know!
sean says
So does anyone know if the tickets will come or not i mean surely there is someone who bought tickets from this site last year!!
Danielle says
My money was taken out by a company called Good time entertainment in London though, and when i rang them they have also said they have worked with the company for years. Im really confused and unsure whether to book flights etc.
Andy says
I regrettably bought 2 tickets from this site also about 2 weeks ago. Really annoyed with myself as in hindsight it all seemed a little too easy when purchasing off that site with no security checks etc.! Plus I never really put much thought into the fact that you may have to wait until 2 weeks pre-beni to receive your tickets i.e. seems they’re simply re-selling those they buy off others who decide to sell on ebay and so forth closer to the event! Fortunately tho although I received an email soon after that confirmed my “purchase” there is still, 2 weeks later, no sign of any payments to leave my account (another sign of their illegitimacy me thinks!). So i’ve decided safest option is to cancel my card as I don’t want to run the risk of not only losing £160 x 2 but potentially getting my whole account wiped!
Leanne says
I bought tickets from this site, not chancing missing the event because the tickets don’t arrive so I’ve booked more through lastminute.com. Hoping to get a refund from the dodgy website….. So annoyed!!
I tried to claim the money back through my credit card company but they can’t do anything because the company isn’t listed as fraudulent 🙁
Ben says
The only thing that I’m worried about is the fact that you have to wait until two weeks before the festival to get your tickets! If you haven’t received an email from them yet, I suggest you call that number. It’s always better to speak to someone, rather than emails.
sophie says
obviously i regret buying tickets from here.
but the company that took the money out of my account are listed as a member of the association of ticket resellers…. http://www.asta-uk.org/, and this organisation said theyd never recieved a complain about the company
so think it will be ok if you’ve bought them..
hopefully..
Ben says
I booked 2 tickets from this website a while back now and didn’t receive a confirmation email. I left a few comments on the site and eventually they called me and re-sent the confirmation email. They also gave me a number to call. 07757 398 920. I wouldn’t have got the tickets from here if I’d known how unproffessional they are. It sounds like 2 blokes working out of their front room! I hope this helps you out.
Danielle says
What are we supposed to do now we have booked these tickets? Im guttedddd
sophie says
why do you say that?
Jonny Nytra says
you definitely won’t get you’re tickets sophie
sophie says
we’ve bought our tickets from here… its taken the money out of my account. what shall we do? im not even sure if they are fake tickets or not, as good time entertainment seems to be a real company just reselling tickets?
Will says
Yeah me too! You had any luck getting money back or contacting them?
James says
Do you not think it may have been better if you had noted that earlyer as I have also bought tickets from them believing that it was a genuine website as it appeared on Google as the first link.
Heather says
They didn’t take the money from my account, which means they obviously just wanted my details etc. they now have my card number, address and all so i cancelled the card. I thought it was weird beacuse the website didn’t run through any security checks.
Its not a genuine ticket seller, so the tickets could be fake like..
Matt says
How do you know this is not a real website? Money was taken from our bank account by GoodTimeEntertainments which are a genuine company selling tickets for events. I don’t know what to believe but have cancelled my card anyway, any information would be really really appreciated.
Matt says
Is this true?? Surely there should be more of a warning about this, we just ordered 8 tickets off that site. Scum.
Heather says
Cancel your credit card!!
Benicassim2010 is not a real website and uses your details and credit card number!!
Heather says
I purchased tickets from that website!
Will I not get them??
