The Festival Internacional de Benicàssim has become the biggest music festival in Spain. So far this year, The Prodigy, Hot Chip, The Cribs, The Courteeners and PiL have all confirmed that they’ll be featuring as part of the 4 day line-up. But don’t forget it’s not only 4 days of fantastic music that you’re paying for, each and every ticket includes 9 days of camping in the glorious fields surrounding the Beni arena.
Benicàssim town is a traditional resort located in northern Castellón province. As you mooch around you’ll notice that the villas on the promenade dating back to the 1920s give it a different air to the usual tower blocks we associate with the costas. The beach is also pretty darn good during the day whilst you’re recovering from the previous nights frollicks.

Whoops, sorry people, looks like one of our researchers made a bit of a boo-boo on this article, they got their info from a journo at The Guardian (http://www.guardian.co.uk/travel/2010/apr/17/east-spain-valencia-murcia-beaches) looks like this journo was looking at last year’s line-up where KoL and Elbow really did make an appearance! Who knows, perhaps they’ll get added to this year’s line-up. Fingers are desperately crossed – Kings of Leon were a huge loss last year.

I can´t help but feel this is pure promotion: most forums and regular Beni-goers are currently holding back on picking up tickets, mainly due to the somewhat lacklustre lineup. Maybe if they announced some proper headliners, or at least the rest of the lineup, I would be willing to believe this post?
