Tickets for Benicassim 2010 have been selling at the fastest rate ever during the first half of May. We’ve got a sneaking suspicion that people are getting a little bit fed up with the appalling start we’ve had to the “great British Summer” and are starting to turn to overseas festivals. With Benicassim being held in Spain during July, you’re virtually guaranteed sunshine and scorchio temperatures for the entire festival.
After years of rain drenched festivals across the UK, you can’t really blame people for wanting a bit of a change. Festivals abroad also provide a dramatic change of scenery for watching bands, making the experience all the more exciting and memorable. You even get to experience a different culture and see some local bands to broaden your musical horizons.
We’re also seeing ticket sales pick up each and every time we make an addition to our already fantastic line-up. With confirmed acts already including: The Prodigy, Gorillaz, Ray Davies, Leftfield, Kasabian, DJ Shadow, Ian Brown, Lily Allen, Goldfrapp and Dizzee Rascal.
Benicassim tickets also include 9 days camping so it can be really efficient to turn your festival trip into a holiday and explore the region in more detail both before, during and after the festival.
